We are looking for a Bilingual Training Specialist to join our growing team in Santo Domingo. This is a full-time hybrid role with a combination of office-based and remote work.
The Training Specialist will support the design, development, and delivery of training programs for corporate and enterprise clients. This person will help create engaging learning materials, facilitate training sessions, support client projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our learning solutions.
Daily responsibilities may include conducting needs assessments, creating training materials, building presentations, supporting eLearning development, preparing facilitator guides and job aids, and delivering virtual or in-person training sessions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys explaining concepts clearly, creating visually appealing learning materials, working with people, and helping learners build confidence and performance.
Experience in travel, bookings, flights, customer service, or hospitality is a strong plus, especially for client projects related to travel operations and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver training programs for corporate clients.
Create training materials such as eLearning content, slide decks, facilitator guides, job aids, knowledge checks, and learner activities.
Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions in English and Spanish.
Collaborate with internal team members, clients, and subject matter experts to understand business needs and learning goals.
Support the development of engaging presentations and learning experiences.
Review and improve existing training content for clarity, engagement, and instructional effectiveness.
Gather learner feedback and help evaluate training effectiveness.
Manage multiple training-related tasks while meeting project timelines.
Support continuous improvement of training materials, processes, and delivery methods.
Qualifications
Professional proficiency in English, ideally C1 level or higher.
Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Experience in training, facilitation, coaching, instructional design, customer service, or learning and development.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt communication to different audiences.
Experience creating presentations, training guides, job aids, or eLearning materials.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a hybrid team environment.
Customer service mindset and ability to understand client needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Communications, Business, Instructional Design, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Strong Pluses
Experience in travel, bookings, flights, hospitality, airlines, or travel-related customer support.
Existing portfolio with eLearning samples, presentations, training materials, or facilitation examples.
Experience using LMS platforms, eLearning tools, Canva, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Articulate, Genially, Camtasia, or similar tools.
Experience working with corporate or enterprise clients.
Experience facilitating both virtual and in-person sessions.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and modern instructional design practices.
